Safety Consideration

For the safety of your children, Greenville Nursery School will never post pictures of them on this website.

We respectfully ask that you do the same.

Program Philosophy

It is the early years in a child's life that are the most important and crucial to the child's total development. Current research has indicated that a child's acquisition of early concepts, skills and attitudes lay the foundation for the future educational development. It is with this in mind, that the Greenville Nursery School's curriculum has been carefully researched, planned and developed. The program that we offer is designed to help young children learn through hands-on experimentation, creative involvement and discovery using an integrated curriculum (thematic approach).

It is recognized that all growth - physical, social, cognitive, creative and emotional, is continuous and develops in an orderly sequence but at different rates in children. Therefore, the Greenville Nursery School's Program is developmentally appropriate and tailored to meet the needs of the children. All children must be nurtured, challenged and supported in a positive manner.

Our main goal is to provide flexibility and freedom which will enhance the child's self-concept and provide growth in environmental awareness and creative potential. Without the support, understanding and guidance of the family, our mission is only half complete.

Together with the child's family, our goal is to help children grow emotionally and with confidence. To our parents, we want you to know, to understand and discuss our goals. Look often into our busy, creative and happy classrooms, and to see your child functioning as a member of a community of young children. Realize the validity of his/her activities, and the importance of what he/she is learning. Together we are entering into a partnership, working towards helping your child develop to his/her potential.

It is a very serious responsibility and we dedicate ourselves to fulfill these goals.

The director Dale is very down to earth and caring. The whole staff here is lovely. They have a great curriculum and teacher/student ratio. My son loves coming here and I feel good knowing he is in great hands. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an early learning center.
